America = Freedom
What was in the mind of the pilgrims when they stepped upon the greatest nation on earth? What was the motive behind the minutemen during the War of Independence? What is being taken away against our own will, and then absurd bills being added to it? FREEDOM. This word has distinguished America as once the 3rd world power in all of the earth. This word has carried our soldiers into the battlefield to protect it.
Who was behind this great and free nation? The Almighty, the Prince of Peace, the Counselor, the one, true God. He has protected this country and has kept this country FREE. This country, through spiritual decline, has taken God out of almost everything possible, even to the point where they have taken Him out of the Pledge of Allegiance. This is a Christian nation, no matter who says it’s not. The Almighty has always brought His people back under His wing, and I’m sure He will do it again. He brought the Great Awakening and the Second Great Awakening to America, and great preachers came out of it all.
All through history, American presidents have always wanted freedom for our country. If you could ask those presidents how they might protect America, they may answer, WAR and DEFENSE. THAT is the only way to keep our freedom.
The people that want this War on Terror to end don’t realize this. We might have to invade countries to protect our American freedom. We might just need to go to defense. But what we all saw on that sad day, September 11, 2001, is that we can’t just go on defense. Whenever we go to war we need to go to assault. That is the only way to protect our FREEDOM and our people. You may want to bring back the American soldiers, but what good are soldiers when they are not doing anything? I support our soldiers and I’m proud that we have soldiers protecting and defending our FREEDOM. I ask you, if you want your freedom, will you let our American soldiers fight, and will you help support them?
I have written this to rise up to a challenge. I once heard “How is it possible to define FREEDOM?” I will tell you how I define FREEDOM. No matter what language it is said in, the UNFREE people will always have hope where FREEDOM is involved. Freedom is being a ruler while being ruled over. Freedom IS having a choice.
You, my friend, YOU have freedom. YOU have a choice, an IMPORTANT choice. God Almighty gave YOU and me the Most Important Choice in our lives. He gave you a choice to accept His only Son that died in the most horrible way possible.
